| Unless otherwise noted, all software listed above runs on top of IntelliCAD - a copy of which is included FREE with every Carlson Software purchase. Additionally, these programs will run on top of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, Land Desktop or Civil 3D versions 2000-2010. Also, those using Carlson Software on top of the IntelliCAD platform are eligible for a special offer from ESRI. Among other things, this special offer entitles the Carlson-IntelliCAD user to a FREE copy of ESRI's ArcView program. | ||
Annual Maintenance
Carlson's Annual Maintenance is an OPTIONAL program that allows you to purchase next year's version of the program at a discount. Maintenance purchased at the time of software purchase qualifies you to automatically receive all upgrades released for the next 15 months. If purchased within 90 days of your Software purchase, pricing for Maintenance is 10% of the retail price of the software. Carlson's policy on Software Maintenance can be viewed by clicking here.
The FREE technical support available from That CAD Girl or from Carlson Software is not dependent on Maintenance status.

Once you decide to purchase, you can activate your software by simply updating your Registration with your Purchased Serial Number.
What CAD Platform Do I Need?
Carlson Software can be installed on top of an AutoCAD or IntelliCAD platform. The AutoCAD platform includes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, Land Desktop or Civil 3D versions 2000-2010. Carlson includes the IntelliCAD platform with every purchase.

During the installation, you will be presented with the dialog box shown below. You are welcome to run the installation multiple times to try Carlson on top of multiple platforms.
Carlson Survey can also be purchased with "Embedded AutoCAD" or, as it's sometimes referred to, OEM version. The OEM or Embedded AutoCAD version of Carlson Survey includes a limited, stripped-down version of AutoCAD. This version does not include IntelliCAD and does not require any additional AutoCAD software purchase.
